The Peacock at Rowsley wins Contemporary Restaurant of the Year and Restaurant of the Year at the Westside & Southside Bar and Restaurant Awards
Our team was over the moon to win 2 awards at last month’s Westside & Southside Bar and Restaurant Awards. Taking home both Contemporary Restaurant of the Year and Restaurant of the Year is testament to the hard work of our chefs and front of house team and we were blown away by the awards and the reaction to them. Haddon Hall’s Mercatum Christmas Artisan Market start November 13th
Firmly established as one of the best Christmas markets in the region, Haddon Hall’s Mercatum Christmas Artisan Markets start on Wednesday November 13th and run for five weeks, every Wednesday – Sunday until December 15th.
A visit gives people the chance to enjoy some Christmas shopping, support independent businesses and see the hall dressed for Christmas.

Festive Menus Launch on November 30th
One of four 3 AA rosette restaurants in Derbyshire, our talented chefs have been hard at work creating a menu that celebrates the festive season, with a more informal menu available in our bar, and our fine dining a la carte menu available in our restaurant.
Our winter bar and lunch menu are available from Saturday 30th November and our dinner menu is available from on Tuesday 3rd December.
We also offer a private dining package, with options seating from 8 people up to 40. With a tailored menu and a dedicated member of staff, it’s a truly special way to see in the Christmas season.
Ringing in the New Year
As we bid farewell to the year, make your final meal of 2024 the best one yet with our NYE tasting menu. Enjoy live music from our classical guitarist, and sit down to a magnificent tasting menu, which starts with a lovely glass of Gusbourne English sparkling wine.
Our NYE menu is £150pp and there’s also a stay package available, which includes an overnight stay, our NYE menu for 2 and breakfast the following morning.
