On Friday 23rd January, The Peacock at Rowsley reopens after our winter break with newly refreshed menus, created by our chefs to celebrate seasonal ingredients and thoughtful, modern cooking.

We know many of you are keen to plan your festive visits, so here’s everything you need to know about our December opening hours, through to our January break.

Celebrate the season with the sounds of live brass. On Monday 15th December, the Youlgrave Brass Band will perform live in our gardens from 6pm – 6:30pm

Every Saturday evening throughout the season we invite you to join us for our exclusive 8-course tasting menu, crafted to delight the senses and celebrate the very best of Peak District dining.

Our refreshed menus arrive have arrived, with dishes showcasing honest winter produce with thoughtful flair. These menus bring warmth, comfort and a touch of indulgence to the table, offering memorable winter dining in the heart of the Peak District.

We’re delighted to share that The Peacock at Rowsley has been named Restaurant of the Year at the Westside & Southside Restaurant and Bar Awards 2025.

Recognised with triple AA rosettes and listed in the Michelin Guide, our restaurant now presents a rotating eight-course tasting menu every Saturday, showcasing the finest seasonal and local ingredients Derbyshire has to offer.
