We have two private dining rooms at The Peacock, each with its own character, and each suited to different types of occasion.
The Wye Room: Our larger space, accommodating up to 24 guests depending on layout. A full-length window wall fills the room with natural light, making it one of the most inviting settings in Derbyshire for a private lunch, celebratory dinner or away-day. It’s flexible enough to suit everything from a relaxed family gathering to a formal sit-down dinner.
The Derwent Room: A more intimate setting, ideal for up to 15 guests. Whether you’re hosting a private dinner, a small celebration or a focused corporate lunch, the Derwent Room has a warmth and focus that larger event spaces rarely manage to replicate. It feels personal, considered and genuinely special.
