Our rooms and suites are individually decorated with antique furnishings, rich fabrics, and subtle nods to our heritage, all while offering the modern comforts you would expect from luxury Peak District accommodation. You will find sumptuous linens, air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, fresh artisan tea and coffee, luxury Penhaligon toiletries, cosy robes, a radio and complimentary Wi-Fi in every room. We provide complimentary on-site parking for all guests staying or visiting The Peacock at Rowsley. There’s no need to book a space in advance, simply arrive, check in and relax.

Yes, all overnight stays include our much-loved breakfast. Served each morning in our restaurant, it’s the perfect way to prepare for a day spent exploring the Peak District. You will have the option to book either our dinner, bed and breakfast experience, or our tasting menu, bed and breakfast experience, perfect for those looking to enjoy the full experience of our award-winning kitchen during their stay.
Unfortunately, due to frequent incidents of damage to our beloved venue, we no longer accept dogs inside The Peacock at Rowsley.
This is to ensure that we maintain the luxury Peak District accommodation expected by all our guests. However, we do allow well-behaved dogs on leads in our outside areas.
Assistance and guide dogs are warmly welcomed throughout the property.
Check-in is from 4 pm, and check-out is by 11 am. Should you require early check-in or late check-out, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
