Gastronomy sits at the core of our hotel. Our restaurant team are the proud bearers of three AA rosettes.

The key behind each dish is our high-quality, seasonal and local quality ingredients, which our Head Chef Dan Smith is passionate about. Michelin trained by Tom Aiken, Dan combines skill and creativity to merit the awards we have achieved.

Join us for breakfast or lunch in a cosy setting

Indulge in our famous Peacock breakfast from 7:30am – 10:00am. Or maybe choose a relaxed lunch made up of our regular beautifully cooked favourites such as our sumptuous sirloin steak and chips; as well as ever changing “specials” which Dan and his team in the kitchen create from special ingredients they find as the seasons change.

We serve daytime food from Tuesday to Saturday including: 

Lunch: 12:00pm – 3:00pm

Sandwich menu only: 3:00pm – 5:00pm

Afternoon Tea from: 12:00 – 3:00pm

Dinner is a culinary delight

Dinner at The Peacock at Rowsley is a luxurious and indulgent fine dining experience where our chefs love to excel. We use the finest ingredients and craft them into the most delicious dishes to delight every taste. For the full experience why not treat yourself to our wine paired tasting menu?

Our fine dining dinner menu is served in our restaurant from: 6:00pm – 9:00pm 

Our tasting menu is offered  on Tuesday – Saturday evenings from: 6:00pm – 8:30pm.
