The Peacock at Rowsley

The Peacock is the hub for the Haddon Estate fisheries which offers some of the finest and most extensive dry fly fishing for wild trout in the country. Fishermen come from all over the world, and the Derbyshire Wye is famous for being the only river in the United Kingdom with wild rainbow trout as well as wild brown trout.

Why not combine a relaxing stay with a spot of fishing? If you are staying at the Peacock you can fish on these very special waters; just email or call reception on 01629 733 518 to book.

We also have a number of highly experienced guides available who can help you make the best of your day and teach you the fine art of dry fly fishing for wild trout! Beginners are welcome.

For more regular fishers, our Peacock Fly Fishing Club membership offers exceptional unlimited fishing opportunities on our four rivers throughout the season. Please click here to register your interest to join. The club is full but you are very welcome to join the waiting list.
