The Peacock at Rowsley has a rich history, dating back to 1652 when our beautiful hotel was built for the Steward of Haddon Hall. Haddon Hall, known to be one of the finest medieval manor houses in Britain, is just a few miles down the road and there is much to enjoy in its beautiful medieval surroundings this autumn.
Getting Creative
If you enjoy creative activities, Haddon Hall is hosting a lino printing day on 7th October. Create your own lino print to use for homemade greeting cards – a unique opportunity to make a lovely print for your Christmas cards!
