This month the world famous Buxton Festival takes place just 30 minutes down the road from The Peacock.
The festival is a celebration of opera, music and literature with a jam packed programme over 2 weeks from 10th – 26th July.
Events take place at the Buxton Opera House and Pavilion Arts Centre and will feature famous faces including Simon Armitage, David Starkey, Gyles Brandreth and Louis de Bernieres. There will also be performances from the English Chamber Orchestra, Halle Soloists and the Elias String Quartet.
The Buxton Festival really is a highlight in the Peak District calendar and we look forward to welcoming festival goers to The Peacock.
