From 11th May 2025, The Peacock at Rowsley will be open 7 days a week, giving you more opportunities to enjoy AA Rosette fine dining, elegant surroundings, tranquil boutique hotel stays, and fishing stays in the heart of the Peak District.

 

 

New service times at The Peacock at Rowsley from May 2025

Monday to Saturday:
Breakfast 7:30-10am | Lunch 12-3pm (à la carte), 12-5pm (lunch menu)
Afternoon Tea 12-3pm (48 hours’ notice)
Dinner 6-9pm | Tasting Menu 6-8pm

Sunday:
Breakfast 7:30-10am | Sunday Menu served 12pm until 8pm

 

 

Sunday lunch dining – now served until 8pm

Head chef, Dan Smith, and the team have been delighted to bring back Sunday lunch to The Peacock at Rowsley. Due to popular demand, we are now extending our Sunday lunch dining from 12 pm to 8 pm.

Over the warmer spring and summer months, we’re also serving Sunday lunch outside on the terrace, making this a delightful space, surrounded by nature, to enjoy a Sunday roast dining experience.

Fine dining tasting menu – now served Monday to Saturday

Made with the finest locally grown and reared produce, this is an outstanding culinary experience that’s a must for fine dining lovers. If you want to make a night of it in our historical country house, located close to Chatsworth House and Bakewell, our boutique hotel stays can include dining at competitive rates. Book your stay and include dinner, bed and breakfast, dining from the à la carte menu, or tasting menu, bed and breakfast stays which include your tasting menu experience (wine flight separate).

Arguably, the best way to start your day in the Peak District is with a flavoursome breakfast. Featuring cuts of meat sourced from our dedicated butchers, EW Coates in Darley Dale and locally grown produce, start your day your way with a hearty Peak District English breakfast or something lighter from the continental choice.
