Al fresco dining (when the weather permits it!)

It’s certainly not been the summer weather everyone was hoping for but there’s still plenty of ways to enjoy the summer months at The Peacock at Rowsley.

Our new summer menu is now live, celebrating beautiful seasonal produce. From our bar menu and lighter lunch menu, to our a la carte and tasting menu, there’s a menu to suit all occasions.

And when the sun does decide to join us, you can make the most of it by dining al fresco, with lunch on our garden terrace, with birdsong acting as the perfect accompaniment to a lovely afternoon out!

Private Dining

If you have a special event coming up and would like a private space to celebrate it in style, The Peacock has two private dining rooms and can work with you to design a special experience to fit the occasion.

Private dining guests can take advantage of each of our two private rooms until 5 pm for lunch, or from 6.30 pm – 11.30 pm in the evening. If staying overnight, rooms will be entirely at your disposal for the duration of the evening.

The perfect summer stay package

If you’re planning a night away in the UK this summer, The Peacock is the perfect base for those looking to explore the Peak District. Our dinner bed and breakfast package includes complimentary tickets to Haddon Hall, as well as complimentary tea, coffee and our renowned homemade shortbread on arrival.

This package starts from £405 for a standard double room midweek and includes three courses from our fine dining menu and a full English breakfast the following morning.
