Nestled away in Rowsley village, we regularly welcome families, friends, colleagues and couples celebrating life’s special moments. From birthdays, to wedding anniversaries, promotions and Christmas parties, it is our indulgent, fine dining menus that keep guests returning. With three AA rosettes to their name, our restaurant team are simply passionate about food. Every dish on our menus contain seasonal produce and locally sourced ingredients, including organically-reared beef and lamb from the Haddon Estate, and meat from E. W. Coates in Two Dales and Hancock’s in Stoney Middleton in Derbyshire.

Three Delicious Courses

Selecting from the summer a la carte menu, you can currently enjoy handpicked crab, heritage tomato and watermelon, and gazpacho sorbet to start, followed by Gressingham duck breast, artichokes, broccoli, duck fat potatoes and cherries. Then how about our mouthwatering pineapple upside down cake with spiced rum caramel, kalamansi lime curd and coconut ice to finish. A Private Affair

In addition to our restaurant, we also offer two private dining rooms for larger gatherings. Seating between 4 to 20 guests, both rooms are perfect for private parties and business entertaining.  As the autumn / winter party season approaches, we look forward to sharing in many celebrations with those seeking a Peak District escape.
