Our team are incredibly important at The Peacock and it’s only right you get to know them! Introducing Laura Ball, our Hotel Manager.
How long have you worked at The Peacock? Since September 2004!!!!
What does your role involve? Day to Day running of the hotel. Managing a small team and being on hand to meet and greet guests. We are a small 15-bedroom hotel so I am hands on with everything
What’s your favourite part of the job? No day is ever the same. The uncertainty of the day keeps things interesting and I love meeting people along the way.
What’s your favourite dish? The head chef Dan knows I am a huge fan of the spring season. Derbyshire lamb is my absolute favourite with asparagus, lamb fat potatoes and wild garlic foraged from by the river.
