During Haddon Hall’s heyday it was law that every able man over 24 years should be able to shoot a target at 220 yards. How would you fare? To give you an opportunity to find out, Haddon Hall is hosting three archery events in August suitable for the whole family (not just men over 24 years). Beginning with Have-a-go Archery on August 7th, there is also a full weekend of archery on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August with the Derwent Bowmen. Derwent Bowmen Archery Club is found 3 miles south of The Peacock and offers a series of great events throughout the year, should you fancy a Peak District getaway combined with some shooting. Try something new this summer!
